FILM FORRES
What we do…
Film Forres is a community group which provides a range of community film activities for Forres and the surrounding area. These include film screenings for different age-groups (currently under-18s and over-18s) and offering use of the film equipment to other groups for screenings, performance, and related activities.
Our screen offerings are - for under-18s - Film Forres Family; for over 18s - Film Forres Presents and, for community groups out and about - Film Forres Mobile.

We also run film-related workshops as Film School Forres.

FILM FORRES FAMILY
Fornightly screenings for under-18s
Film Forres Family is our twice-a-month offering for younger audiences. Entry is by donation (£1) with a tuck shop. Doors open at 6:00 pm. Film starts at 6:30 pm.

Monthly screenings for over-18s
Film Forres Presents is our twice-a-month offering for older audiences. We aim for an all-round community experience where friends and family can get together for a movie night out. We set the hall up with cabaret-style seating and you can bring along your own drinks and nibbles. We even encourage dressing up – when the film is right!

FILM FORRES MOBILE
Screenings for community groups in community venues
Film Forres Mobile is our bespoke offering for older audiences. We aim for the same all-round community experience where friends and family can get together for a movie night out in their own community. Groups choose the venue and we'll check its suitability and set it up. We can take care of licensing and the technical side. There are costs for this but we are happy to discuss them and often we can help find funding to support your initiative.
