We're passionate about film
We show films for the Forres community. Our screenings comprise -
Film Forres Family - twice-monthly shows for younger people
Film Forres Prresents! - monthly shows for over 18s with cabaret-style atmosphere
Film Forres Mobile - using our portable facilities, shows around village halls and other venues in the area
We also run Film School Forres - workshops and projects for budding filmmakers

LOCAL CINEMA
Film Forres has been around since 2011. We began by showing films for younger audiences and expanded into films for older age groups in 2018. Our regular screenings happen in Forres Town Hall but, since 2022, we've set up Film Forres Mobile which can come to any local venue of your choice and put on a film for you.
Film Forres relies on its volunteers - why not join us?
There are lots of things you can help with

organising the Town Hall (and other venues in the locality)

assisting on the door at events

looking after the tuck shop on kids’ nights

doing technical stuff (like setting up and running the equipment)

just coming up with film ideas
